Who We Are
The Saxony-Anhalt Regional Association of Adult Education Centres brings together educational institutions and people across the heart of Germany.
With a diverse range of programmes and services, it fosters learning, networking, and long-term cooperation among its member organisations and partners.
As the statewide umbrella organisation for adult education centres, the Association is officially recognised by the Ministry of Education of Saxony-Anhalt under the Adult Education Act of Saxony-Anhalt.
What we do
We help shape the role of adult education centres within the educational and cultural system of Saxony-Anhalt. We represent their interests, provide guidance on educational, organisational and financial issues, and foster collaboration and knowledge sharing. We also offer a broad range of professional training programmes, promote public awareness of adult education, work closely with local government associations, develop educational programmes, create teaching and learning resources, and support adult education centres in achieving key adult education policy goals.
